This Cookie Policy explains how Sonora Labs LLC ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at meetwillo.app. It supplements our Privacy Policy. It does not apply inside the Willo App itself, which uses native iOS storage and does not rely on cookies.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small text file a website places on your device. We also use related technologies such as pixel tags (tiny images), local storage, and mobile identifiers. For readability, we call all of these "cookies" in this policy.
Cookies can be set by us ("first-party") or by a service we use ("third-party"). Some last only for the current session ("session cookies") and are deleted when you close the browser. Others stay on your device until they expire or you delete them ("persistent cookies").
2. Categories of cookies we use
We group cookies by purpose. In the EU and UK, non-essential cookies are off by default until you accept them through our cookie banner.
- Strictly necessary. Needed for the site to work. They handle things like saving your cookie preferences and protecting against abuse. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics. Help us understand which pages are visited, how long people stay, and where they come from, so we can improve the site.
- Marketing and advertising. Help us measure whether our ads worked and show more relevant ads on other sites.

4. How we use cookies
- To keep the site running and remember your preferences
- To measure how the site is performing and spot problems
- To understand how people find us, so we can invest in the channels that work
- To measure whether visitors who saw an ad eventually installed the Willo App
We never use cookies to collect information about health conditions, religion, political opinions, or other sensitive categories.
5. Managing your preferences
- Cookie banner. EU and UK visitors see a banner on the first visit. You can accept all, reject all (except strictly necessary), or pick by category. You can reopen the banner at any time by clicking Cookie settings in the footer.
- Browser settings. You can delete or block cookies directly in your browser. Instructions for the main browsers are at allaboutcookies.org. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser or a browser extension sends a GPC signal, we treat that as a valid opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under California law, and we will not load advertising cookies for your visit.
- Opt out of Google Analytics. Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Opt out of Meta advertising. Visit your Meta ad preferences. You can also use the industry opt-out tools at optout.aboutads.info (U.S.) and youronlinechoices.eu (EU).
6. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Sonora Labs does not sell personal information for money. Under California law (CPRA), some of the advertising cookies listed in section 3 (for example, Meta Pixel) may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If you are a California resident and want to opt out of this sharing, you have three options:
- Click Cookie settings in the footer and reject Marketing cookies
- Turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser, which we honor automatically
- Email help@meetwillo.app with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share"
We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of anyone under 16.
7. Do Not Track
Because there is no common industry standard for how websites should respond to Do Not Track browser signals, we do not currently respond to them. We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC).
8. Children
The meetwillo.app website is designed for adults. We do not knowingly place cookies for advertising or profiling on the devices of anyone under 16.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our cookie usage changes or when the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top will show when it was last revised.
10. Contact
If you have questions about this Cookie Policy or want to exercise a right, email help@meetwillo.app with the subject line "Cookies question."
